History:
Canon: Eighteen years ago, a failed experiment in climate engineering caused the Earth to freeze over. All remaining life on Earth is aboard a globe-circling train called the Snowpiercer. Brought on board this train as a baby, Edgar remembers nothing before it; raised in the lowest-class Tail section, he grew up angry at the injustice of the system, and served as second in command for the Tail's effective leader, Curtis Everett. When a long-planned uprising started, he accompanied Curtis at the head of the group fighting its way to the front, and was killed in action when Curtis chose to pursue taking an enemy captive rather than surrender to save Edgar's life.
CRAU: This version of Edgar has spent time in the Ainmhian and Milliways_Bar settings, yielding the following significant points:
Powers/Abilities:
Pyrokinesis (see above), allowing him to generate small and short-lived bursts of flame or to ignite easily combustible objects; with further practice, he may be able to heat objects without igniting them. He is not immune to being burned, by his own fire or any other.
His non-magical abilities include a great deal of practice in hand-to-hand combat, maintaining balance on moving surfaces, and crafting or rigging things out of junk.
Inventory:
Edgar will arrive on the ship with the clothes on his back -- jeans, sturdy sneakers, t-shirt, flannel shirt, jacket -- and not much else. Other objects of significance will be regained.
Job History:
Edgar has never held a paying job in his life, although he spent a few months at Ainmhian washing dishes at Max's bakery-cafe. Non-paying jobs he has held include babysitter, bodyguard, and revolutionary.
Suppressions:
Since his death, Edgar has been suppressing (imperfectly) anger and resentment at Curtis for letting him die, despite maintaining that Curtis made the right call by refusing to surrender.
