Edgar tries for a little swoop, and another; the cloak imparts a basic understanding of how to use the wings, but he's still learning what you can do with flight.
"It's the best thing," he says, still beaming at her. "And it's down to you that I thought of asking for it."
Lioriley watched him, nearly forgetting to focus on flapping her wings as she did so. "Well, I merely made the suggestion - but I am glad you are enjoying it so. It seems almost second nature to you."
"Yeah?" He glances at her, a little uncertainly, wings still beating. "I thought it was just the cape that did that. Like it already knows what to do."
"You do not give yourself enough credit, Edgar." She said, righting herself after dropping a few inches, letting the wings keep her upright. "You seem very confident, one cannot attest that only to the cape."
She laughed and then looked around, flapping her wings carefully to raise herself up a little higher. "The castle seems a large target for a first flight, and I doubt anyone is at the observatory. How does that sound?"
